If you are looking for a classic or modern engineering degree program, Köthen is the place for you. Around 3,500 students and 55 professors study and conduct research in three Departments - Computer Science and Languages (FB5), Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (FB6) and Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering (FB7). Köthen is also international. Around 430 foreign students prepare for successful studies in Germany at the Preparatory College (Landesstudienkolleg). To compensate, there are spacious sports facilities, many sports activities and an active student club. Incidentally, the (Administration) heart of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences also beats here.

Architecture, Facility Management and Geoinformation (FB3) and Design (FB4) are located right next to the legendary Bauhaus. The modern study conditions are impressive - digital workshop, sculpture workshop, SpaceLab, wood workshop, photography workshop, video workshop, graphics workshop, metal workshop, TimeLab - this is where study projects are worked on and implemented, prototypes and models designed and built.
