1992 – 1996: Study of Architecture at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Dessau Campus, Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, graduation as "Dipl.-Ing. (FH)" (graduate engineer)

since 1996: Scientific-practical assistant at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau

1998 – 1999: Supplementary study in Monumental Heritage at the "Weiterbildungs- und Beratungszentrum für Denkmalpflege und behutsame Altbauinstandsetzung e.V." (Further Education and Consultation Centre for Monumental Preservation and the Refurbishment of Old Buildings)

2014 – 2016: Study of Master of Science in Heritage Management

since 2000: Course coordinator for the joint Master course in Monumental Heritage  in cooperation with the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg
