Kindergarten Angelika Hartmann
The Kindergarten Angelika Hartmann is a facility of the Studentenwerk (Student Services) Halle. The kindergarten is located directly across from the campus and primarily cares for children of parents who study or work at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
Kathrin Jerichow is the director of the facility. One of the main goals of the pedagogical work here is to promote the child’s ability to act creatively through imaginative play, through movement, and through a variety of artistic activities.
A large open space with sandboxes and playground equipment is available for the children, and the gymnasium of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is also used for sports activities. Children from the age of 3 also have the opportunity to participate in weekly early music education through the music school, as well as English classes for preschoolers.
The facility has a capacity of 125 places, of which 50 places are allocated to the nursery and the remaining 75 places to the kindergarten.
