Course content and objectives
Graduates of the distance learning Master’s program in Electrical and Computer Engineering are excellently qualified for classic engineering professions. These are characterized by an extreme diversity in job opportunities. The professional fields range from planning to development, project work, production, inspections, quality assurance, initial operations, and sales of electrical components, equipment, machines, and systems. Engineers are desired experts in almost all areas and industries (electrical and electronics industry, energy technology, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, medical technology, etc.).
The content of the degree problem is structured with modules. For successfully completed areas of teaching (modules), points are given according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The number of credits depends on the scope of a module and the workload required to complete it. The work done is therefore internationally comparable and recognized.

Graduates are qualified to solve tasks in their professions using interdisciplinary scientific methods. With project-related work, the program also contributes to promoting personality development and conveys social, economic, and occupational skills. These additional skills enable graduates to work independently in additional fields of electrical and computer engineering, for example in research and development.
