Course content and objectives

The Master's degree program in Sustainable and Process Engineering warrants further education in natural and technical sciences, expanding competences acquired in the first academic degree. Extensive knowledge and skills in the fields of regenerative energies, heat, refrigeration and process engineering as well as the simulation and modeling of processes and the application of artificial intelligence are imparted, so that graduates are able to apply scientific methods and findings vocationally and solve interdisciplinary problems. Furthermore, social, ecological, economic and ergonomical basic skills prepare graduates for future management tasks.

 

Requirements

  • University degree

    A completed university degree in Engineering or comparable degree programms with a normal program length of at least 7 semesters (210 ECTS) is required.

    Applicants with a Bachelor's degree of less than 210 ECTS, are required to take extra modules of up to 30 ECTS.

  • Language skills

    • DSH2
    • or another acceptable German language certificate
  • Aptitude test procedure

    1. first university degree:

    • overall grades up to 2.5 (German grading scale) can be admitted
    • overall grades lower than 2.5 (German grading scale) go into the selection process

    2. further criteria:

    • if necessary an admission interview
  • Dual degree option

    This program is also offered as a dual degree program.

    A program-related work or traineeship contract is required.
