Process Engineering (B.Eng.)

Department of Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering

Course content and objectives

Students of process engineering will learn how primary commodities (oxygen, nitrogen, petroleum, natural gas, etc.) are made into valuable and sustainable products, e.g. energy, fertilizer, glue, plastic, (bio) fuel, medicine and food products efficiently and climate-neutrally. Huge amounts of these commodities "run" through fascinating machines and plants. The program enables students to plan, organize and monitor these modern processes and to develop and efficiently run machines and equipment.
