Graduation Scholarship and Scholarship for Social Commitment
Main objective of the scholarship is to financially support qualified international students in bachelor and master programs in order to allow them to concentrate exclusively on writing their final thesis and finishing their studies successfully.
There are two types of the scholarships available. Each will grant EUR 400 per month for 3 months.

Prerequisites:
Applicants must
- submit their thesis in a maximum of 1 semester,
- be enrolled as a full-time student at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences,
- have good to very good grades and the majority of their credits
- live in Germany during the thesis

- have been enrolled at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences for at least one semester,
- have good to very good grades
- be voluntarily involved in international activities (e.g. as a buddy) or other social areas.

Application documents:
- Letter of motivation (required, max. 1800 characters, one A4 page)
- Certificate of academic and examination achievements (required, His-Qis extract)
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form (required, max. 2 pages)
- Copy of passport (required)
- Expert opinion from a professor (required)
- Timetable until graduation (optional, in monthly steps, maximum 1 page)
- Confirmation of registration for final thesis or examination (optional)
- Confirmation of international engagement (optional)
Please note!
- Applications must be submitted by the deadline of April 15, 2026. Late applications can no longer be considered.
- Please have your professor complete the assessment and send it by e-mail to the scholarship administration STIBET (contact: stibet.scholarship@hs-anhalt.de)!
- Applications must be submitted in electronic form only. After receipt of the application documents, applicants will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
Only complete applications will be included in the selection process.
The selection is made by a committee on the basis of the documents submitted.
Selection criteria include the probability of graduation within the funding period as well as good coursework, impact and evaluation of the letter of recommendation.
There is no entitlement to funding.
Applicants will be informed of the selection result in writing by the International Office.
