STIBET Scholarship

Graduation Scholarship and Scholarship for Social Commitment

Main objective of the scholarship is to financially support qualified international students in bachelor and master programs in order to allow them to concentrate exclusively on writing their final thesis and finishing their studies successfully.

There are two types of the scholarships available. Each will grant EUR 400 per month for 3 months.

 

 

  • Graduation Scholarship

    Qualification:

    Applicants must 

    • be enrolled at Anhalt Universtiy of Applied Sciences with the aim to obtain a university degree 

    • be in the final stage of their degree program (= graduate within 2 semesters maximum)

    • live in Germany during the final stage of writing their BA/ MA thesis
    • have earned a main share of their credits and achieved good grades
  • Scholarship for social commitment

    Qualification:

    Applicants must

    • be enrolled at Anhalt Universtiy of Applied Sciences with the aim to obtain a university degree (= be at least in their 2nd semester at Anhalt)

    • be full time enrolled international student with good grades

    • be involved in international affairs such as the Buddy program or other volunteering activities in the international / intercultural university context

  • Application documents and Advices

     

    Please use only the online form below to submit your application.

    Application documents:

    • Letter of motivation (compulsory, max. 1800 characters, one A4 page)
    • Evidence of completed modules/courses and exams (compulsory, HIS/QIS Portal)
    • CV (compulsory, max. 2 pages)
    • Copy of passport or identity card (compulsory)
    • Reference letter from a Professor (compulsory)
    • Provisional timetable for the completion of your degree (compulsory, in monthly steps, max. 1 page)
    • Confirmation of registration of the topic of your final paper or final examination(s)(optional)
    • Confirmation of commitment and activities in the international context (optional)

     

     

    Attention!

     

    • Applications must be submitted in time for the deadline of 15 April 2024. Applications arriving late cannot be considered.
    • Submit applications in electronic form only. 
    • After we have received the application documents, the applicants will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

     

     

  • Selection process

    Please understand that we can only consider complete applications.

    The selection will be made on the basis of the application documents by a committee of representatives of Anhalt University.

    Amongst others, the selection criteria are: the likelihood of completing the degree program in the timeframe specified in the application papers as well as good grades, impact and an evaluation according to the letter of reference.

    Applicants will receive written feedback on the success of their application.

    Please note:

    As the number of scholarships is limited, there is no guarantee for receiving a scholarship.

Please fill out the application form only once and only when you already have all required documents. Before submitting the form, check that all the required documents have been uploaded.
Please include a timetable for the completion of your degree (see below) or proof of commitment and activities in the international context with your application. The proof of international commitment should not be issued by you personally.
If you do not upload either of these documents, your application can unfortunately not be considered.
