Course content and objectives

Students learn to be experts of geoinformation. With this practical program, they become familiar with engineering activities in surveying and geoinformatics. They understand how to set up, further develop, and apply geoinformation systems in order to manage data and support plans. Graduates’ areas of professional activity are as varied as the program objectives. They work in areas in the chemical industry, mechanical engineering and plant construction, communal supply and waste institutions, recycling companies, engineering and planning firms, energy technology, public agencies, and business consulting.

The potential careers are very diverse. Mastering highly complex measurement and analysis processes, the ability to apply and adapt computer programs, and an understanding of legal issues ensure graduates have excellent career prospects in businesses, planning agencies, in public agencies, or as freelancers.
