25.06.2026 09:00 - 26.06.2026 13:00 Uhr

This workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to scholarly publishing. Participants will learn how to select a target journal strategically, taking into account factors such as scope, audience and metrics. There will be a particular focus on understanding and navigating the peer review process, from preparing a solid submission and responding to reviewer feedback to communicating effectively with editors.

In addition, the workshop will cover essential topics such as copyright and licensing, common ethical challenges (including predatory publishing, authorship disputes, and plagiarism), and the evolving landscape of open access and open science. Participants will also discuss the growing role of artificial intelligence in academic publishing.
