Welcome
Restoring Agricultural Landscapes for Biodiversity and Resilience
Agricultural landscapes are under increasing stress from biodiversity loss, climate change, and intensive land use. Restoring ecological functions while keeping farming productive and sustainable is one of the main challenges we face for our landscapes' future.
AgriRestore brings together researchers to share knowledge and viewpoints on biodiversity restoration and sustainable farming.
The AgriRestore Symposium will showcase current research and practical experiences in ecosystem and landscape restoration, specifically focusing on agricultural systems. We will examine how restoration measures can improve biodiversity, ecosystem functions, and climate resilience while also considering their effects on farming and land management.
Beyond presenting scientific findings, the symposium aims to create a space for open dialogue and collaboration. We will talk about what makes restoration successful, where challenges and knowledge gaps exist, and how we can apply scientific evidence to create practical solutions for resilient agricultural landscapes. To further encourage exchange and collaboration, we invite external researchers to bring posters and share their work, ideas, and perspectives. To support sustainable practices, we particularly encourage the reuse of existing posters.
Share knowledge. Build collaboration. Shape the future.
Through talks and discussions, the AgriRestore Symposium will connect different perspectives and fields. We welcome those working or interested in the intersection of biodiversity, farming, restoration ecology, landscape management, and climate resilience.
Together, we want to go beyond individual restoration measures and explore how to develop evidence-based, scalable, and sustainable solutions for agricultural landscapes. We look forward to welcoming you to the AgriRestore Symposium and working together to shape the future of agricultural landscape restoration.
