Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is part of the Germany-wide DEAL consortium. In addition to free accessibility to scientific publications of the participating publishers, this enables scientists of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences to publish open access in renowned journals after a peer review process.
Starting in 2022, the German Research Foundation (DFG) will support Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in the area of Open Access publications. In addition, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences has established an Open Access Publication Fund, which can be used to co-finance publications in purely Open Access journals. We would like to motivate you to make use of these funding opportunities and to check whether your planned publications meet the criteria listed in the "Guide to the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences Open Access Publication Fund".

Anhalt University of Applied Sciences supports the goals of Open Science. With "Share_it" (the joint repository of the university libraries in Saxony-Anhalt) we provide a repostitory for Open Access publishing and long-term archiving. As a scientist of Anhalt University you can publish and archive scientific contributions, research results and qualification papers on Share_it.
Your publication will be provided as an Open Access electronic full text with a citable DOI, and made permanently accessible. When publishing via the repository "Share_it", please be aware of the associated searchability of your publication via search engines (general conditions for the use of the Open Access repository). If you'd like to publish your thesis via our online-repository, we'll need your work as a PDF file and the filled out "author's declaration" and the recommendation of your scientific advisor. Please note that if you publish on share_it, your work will also be full-text-indexed by search engines (general conditions for using the Open-Access-Repository).
If you like to publish your printed thesis it will be included in the library inventory, please submit a copy and the "author's declaration".
The Anhalt University Bibliography bibliographically records publications of the scientists of our institution. Our catalogues reference contributions like conference papers, scientific articles, book chapters, monographs and many other materials (mainly since 2015).
The Bibliography's record is the basis of the publication lists within the personal profile of our researchers and employees.
Please help us to maintain the university bibliography: Forward the bibliographic data of your academic work by our form "Title Submission" on the right.
In cooperation with our Graphical Workshop in Dessau we publish scientific cotributions within the "Edition Hochschule Anhalt" and provide ISBNs for printed and digital publications as well as permanent identifiers (DOIs) for digital contributions.
Please apply for your ISBN using the online form below.
We take care of the delivery of mandatory copies to the National Libraries and the State Library and the distribution of your digital or printed publications to our partner universities.
To release your publication, we require the document and the filled out author's declaration.

In order to increase the visibility of your contributions in a scientific context, you can equip yourself with a personal ID:
