Business Law (LL.M.)

Building on the first degree, the bachelor’s degree program in Business Law, the acquired knowledge and skills in the fields of law and business administration are intensified over four semesters. In this way, students are prepared in a practical manner for future, possibly international responsibilities in specialist and management roles.

You can specialize in the following areas:

• Arbeits- und Sozialrecht
• Bank- und Versicherungsrecht
• Internationales Wirtschaftsrecht

At the end of the degree program, you should be able to work independently on issues related to business law from a theoretical basis and in an application-oriented manner.

After passing the examination, graduates are awarded the academic degree, “Master of Laws” (LL.M.).

With the Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree, graduates are qualified to assume management and leadership functions in companies, organizations, scientific institutions and corporations at the national and international level.

Areas of activity include:

• Legal and human resources departments
• Contract and claim manager
• in the area of corporate restructuring and insolvency administration
• in banks, insurance companies, financial service providers
• Tax consulting firms and auditing companies
• Management consulting
• in the area of environmental management or environmental law
• as freelancers, especially in international trade
• as commercial lawyers in large law firms

In addition, you have the possibility to do a doctorate degree.
