Hochschule Anhalt MLA-Seniors Abu Sayeed Mohammed Ziad and Pubali Kumar in team with Mahlaqa Fahami (BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg) have been awarded with a 3rd prize in the renowned AIV-Schinkel Competition, Architecture Division/Diesing Preis out of 100 entries. In their interdisciplinary architectural/landscape architectural proposal "InBetween" they are developing new functions out of the existing structure. With a creative down-cycling the former overpass, a reminiscent of the former A 104 highway in Berlin, is now being transformed into an urban landscape providing a greened cycle and pedestrian belt.
