Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Zeitz

120 students from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences visit the city of Zeitz and the former site of the pram manufacturer Zekiwa to kick off their freshly started winter semester. The development and revitalisation of the old industrial site in the city centre and of Building 42, which is still awaiting its future use, is one of the most urgent projects in the structural transformation of the city of Zeitz. As part of the "New European Bauhaus" initiative, the prospective architects and landscape architects would like to contribute to the discussion about the future of the city of Zeitz and the Zewika site.

On 25.10.2023 from 11:00, the joint site inspection accompanied by the local press will take place with the city of Zeitz, the state development company SALEG and the students, professors and staff of Faculty 3 Department of Architecture, Facility Management + Geoinformation and Faculty 1 Agriculture, Ecotrophology + Landscape Development (with the Master's degree programmes in Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning as well as the international Master's degree programmes in Architecture DIA and Landscape Architecture MLA).
