“The consistently high quality of the entries made the jury's task conceivably difficult. In the end, four universities responded to our call, offered a teaching project on the topic, and 27 submissions that met the conditions of the call were admitted to the competition. A wide variety of approaches were pursued, which wonderfully demonstrate how diversely the topic of facade greening can be dealt with.
In the coming year, the first-place design will be implemented. The necessary adjustments will be discussed with the winning team and we hope to be able to inaugurate the facade in the middle of next year.” (GEH8 KUNST RAUM ATELIERS/GEH8-Verlag)
