Dear guests,

The Department of Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences trains the next generation of engineers who are in great demand on the job market. We draw on tradition (engineering education since 1891) and build on the future.

In food and biotechnology as well as in pharmaceutical and process engineering, knowledge from classical engineering sciences is combined with that of modern life sciences. The result is high-quality processes and products that make the world tastier, healthier and more attractive every day. It goes without saying that the Department works closely with partners from industry and research. There is a friendly learning atmosphere on campus and the technical equipment is excellent, as is the student-to-staff ratio.

Prof. Dr. Steffen Sommer (Dean of Department 7)

Welcome to the Campus of Engineers!

Acceleration on the timetable - deceleration in everyday life: Anhalt University of Applied Sciences at Campus Köthen offers optimal conditions for studying engineering: a familiar learning atmosphere with a good supervision ratio, small internship groups instead of overcrowded lecture halls, manageable costs for student living, student clubs where students know each other ...

And if you do want to go into the city, the nearest big cities Halle and Leipzig - and even Berlin - are within easy reach.
