Center for the Coordination of Double Degree Programs
The Center for the Coordination of Double Degree Programs (ZeKoD) at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is located at the International Office and serves as a central point of contact for the planning, implementation and further development of international double degree programs (DDP).
The ZeKoD was founded as part of the project EDUBA - Expanding the Successful German-Ukrainian Education Network was founded. It supports the university and its departments in strategic internationalization, simplifies administrative processes and strengthens academic cooperation with international partner universities.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Communication and coordination
Exchange with partner universities on organizational, academic and administrative issues in connection with double degree programs.
Contract management
Managing the process of signing and renewing memoranda of understanding, cooperation agreements and double conclusion agreements.
Program coordination and development
- Support in the conception, documentation and implementation of new DDPs in cooperation with the Departments and international partners.
Workshops and public relations work
Organization and implementation of workshops, seminars and information events to promote double degree programs at partner universities.
Advice and support
Advising partners on academic structures, language and admission requirements for students applying for a double degree program.
Application support
Creation of guidelines for the preparation of application documents (CV, certificates of achievement, letters of motivation, language certificates).
Preselection and credits
Examination of application documents and preliminary interviews to assess language and professional skills.
Student support
Support during the application and registration process at the partner university and during the acclimatization phase abroad.
Feedback and quality assurance
Collection and evaluation of reregistration from instructors and students for the further development of double degree programs.
Strategic importance
The ZeKoD contributes significantly to the implementation of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences' internationalization strategy 2025-2030. By bundling administrative processes and interdepartmental cooperation, the ZeKoD strengthens the international visibility of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and creates sustainable structures for academic mobility and networking.
