Main research areas

Intensive scientific work is carried out in the departments of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, which is documented by more than 100 research projects financed by third-party funds each year, often with (regional) business partners. Anhalt University of Applied Sciences increased its third-party funding from €6 million in 2016 to around €11.5 million in 2020. The research focus areas of Life Sciences, Engineering Sciences and ICT & Media Sciences accounted for the largest share of this, averaging around 68% over these five years.

Detailed information on the research priorities and research areas can be found below, as well as in the research map of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK)
