Engineers are in high demand and at Department 6, the young engineers of tomorrow study in our electrical and mechanical engineering courses. In our bachelor's and master's degree programs, students learn and conduct research on current technical and technological issues and work closely with companies and institutes - a real plus for practice!
The future holds questions and problems - we prepare our students to give smart answers to all questions.

We train (with) tradition
Educating the young engineers of tomorrow, shaping the future: That has been our mission - since 1891. The educational tradition of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and its predecessor institutions in Köthen goes back this far. From an academy to a polytechnic to a technical university, it has firmly established itself in the educational landscape as a guarantor of high-quality education in the engineering sciences.
Today, it is an established university of applied sciences - and with it our department as a place of education for engineers. Practical relevance is a central point at Anhalt University, because we know from experience how important proximity to practice is for answering technical and technological questions of the future.
