Internally, too, we are firmly committed to continuous professional development and the shared exchange of knowledge. As part of our “Train the Trainer” program, our startup advisor Johannes has conducted four practice-oriented workshops for the team at the Center for Research, Transfer and Entrepreneurship (FTGZ) over the past few weeks.

Four Workshops—Four Perspectives on Innovation and Collaboration

The workshop “From Idea to Reality” focused on the development of business models. Participants learned how to systematically transform ideas into testable hypotheses and implement initial validation steps in a practical way.

The “Learning Scrum Through Play” workshop taught agile working methods in a particularly interactive way: Working in groups, participants developed their own card game based on the Scrum process and took on roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Developer, and Stakeholder. This allowed them to experience agile collaboration firsthand.

The Design Thinking workshop focused on creative problem-solving and user-centered thinking. Using a simple coffee filter as a starting point, participants worked in teams to develop various prototypes and experienced how quickly innovative ideas can emerge from everyday objects.

Finally, the “Design Your Business” workshop offered a structured overview of various business model types and how they work. In addition, participants received an introduction to the fundamentals of the Lean Startup framework.

Conclusion

The workshop series impressively demonstrated how hands-on learning, creative methods, and agile approaches can work together to open up new perspectives for one’s own work.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their enthusiastic participation and valuable exchange of ideas.
