You will receive all the content you need as a qualified computer scientist during your 7-semester course. You will learn the basics of programming and modeling as well as digital signal processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning and the mathematical foundations of computer science. These basic modules remain independent of the specialization you choose, so that after graduation you will have a comprehensive knowledge of computer science in addition to your specialist knowledge from the specialization.

Your training will be supplemented by a specialization in which you will acquire particular future-oriented specialist knowledge.

You can choose from the following specializations:

We also attach great importance to practical application, so there is plenty of time and space to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice - both in project modules and in the practical phase outside the university.

Studying with structure

Your studies consist of modules with different focuses, consisting of a mixture of theory and practice. These partly build on each other and offer you the basics of Applied Computer Science with your specific focus.

You can see the simplified structure of the course in the following diagram.
The specialization modules vary depending on your specialization and can be found on the specialization pages.

Please refer to the module plan and module description handbook for the module plan and scope of study.
