Business Studies/Real Estate Valuation (B.A.)

The study of Real Estate Evaluation

Real estate values are required for a wide variety of purposes, almost regardless of the economic situation. Real Estate Evaluations are commissioned in particular by banks, institutional real estate investors, private individuals, courts and the public sector. The reasons for commissioning a valuation can be as varied as the properties to be valued. While in the financial sector, the determination of a market and mortgage lending value by real estate appraisers is required for credit decisions and lending, Real Estate Evaluations are equally important for investment companies, large asset-related companies, family offices and for private individuals in purchase/sale/dispute matters.

Real Estate Evaluators enjoy a high degree of trust from clients and customers. They are on the road to get to know the properties, meet all kinds of people, use new digital media and innovative geo-information systems for research and preparing appraisals as well as the latest technology such as drones for special property inspections. The appraisal is an important basis for decision-making for many players in the entire real estate market.
