White Carpathians" excursion (Czech Republic)
Meadows to kneel down in! There is no other way to describe the wealth of species and colors of the grassland communities in the White Carpathians. On the one hand, the excursion focuses on the botanical exploration of various meadow communities. However, it also focuses on the renaturation of degraded open land habitats. We will look at renaturalized former arable land and a sandy landscape formerly used for military practical courses and its pasture management.
The excursion is offered as part of the "Botany and Vegetation Science" course of the Nature Conservation and Landscape Planning master's degree program. 15 students can participate. If you are interested, please contact Sandra Dullau by e-mail.
