International orientation
The lecturers of the master's degree program in Nature Conservation and Landscape Planning have numerous international contacts and cooperations. Participation in national and international scientific associations influences the international orientation of the program. Due to contractual relationships and internationally oriented research, the program also offers international interdisciplinary projects, work in international teams as well as semesters abroad.
Specific examples of the international focus include:
- the inclusion of international aspects in the curriculum, with a focus on the EU (e.g. Habitats Directive, Birds Directive, Water Framework Directive, EIA and SEA Directives),
- nature conservation excursions abroad (e.g. Sweden, Slovenia, southern Africa) as well as
- international research projects involving students (including Romania, Greece, Sweden, South Africa, Botswana, Bangladesh, Czech Republic).
