Busi­ness Law (LL.B.)

The internship report must be at least 15 pages long. It must contain the following information:

1. Description of the company or the institution corresponding to the study objective (including: Field of activity, size, competitive position, main procurement and sales markets, key figures).
2. Description of the work area/area (functional area) within the company or the institution corresponding to the study objective with regard to its size and importance, as well as position within the organization.
3. Description of the workplace and area of responsibility.
4. An activity report (organized by week).
5. Detailed credits for the activity.

Preparation of an exposé for a Bachelor's dissertation of approx. 3-5 pages. The topic for the Bachelor's dissertation must be chosen independently. The synopsis should cover the following areas:

1. Intention of the topic
2. Delimitation questions in the processing
3. approach

In addition, a rough outline of approximately one page should be drafted, as well as a list of at least 10 sources that are relevant to the treatment of the topic.

Teaching and studies should prepare students for professional activities in the field of Economics and Administration and provide them with the necessary professional and practical knowledge, skills and methods in such a way that they are enabled to carry out independent scientific work, to think critically and to act freely, responsibly and socially. From a professional point of view, students should receive a broad scientific interdisciplinary education that leads to a generalist qualification and thus to a long-term ability to work in different professional fields. In addition, cognitive and social skills are to be taught as interdisciplinary qualifications. These skills should make it possible to recognize problems specific to the professional field and to develop solutions with social competence and leadership skills. In particular, teaching and studies should prepare students for professional activities in the field of governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as for activities in nationally and internationally active commercial enterprises. Furthermore, students should become familiar with the use of Business Law and economic policy instruments and be able to describe and independently analyze current problems in the context of international Economics and develop solution options using scientific methods. This practical relevance of the degree program is to be established through the integration of projects and case studies, among other things. At the same time, the Bachelor's degree also establishes the basic eligibility for admission to a Master's degree course.

In projects, students contribute to the processing, analysis and solution of problems from their immediate professional practice under the supervision of authorized examiners and additionally through self-organized work in small groups.

(1) The lab/scientific project is part of the degree program and is demonstrably carried out in a company or an institution corresponding to the study objective. If sufficient practical placements are not available, these may exceptionally be replaced in whole or in part by equivalent practical projects or practical phases at the university.

(2) The duration of the lab/scientific project is at least 18 weeks.

(3) The internship/scientific project shall be carried out on the basis of the degree program's internship regulations.

(4) The lab/scientific project may be replaced by a study phase at a cooperating foreign university - semester at another domestic or foreign institution. The scope and crediting of this study phase should correspond to the lab/academic project; the duration and content should be regulated in agreements between the cooperating departments.

Projects are practice-oriented works that lead to independent contributions by the individual members of the project group in small groups under supervision as well as through self-organized work by the project group. The results are jointly presented and defended in a project report.

The internship companies are sought out by the students themselves. If problems arise, the Degree Program Advisor must be consulted. A written agreement must be concluded with the lab company before the start of the internship.

At the end of the respective internship period, the "Certificate" form (forms) must be submitted to the internship company for processing. This primarily records the period actually completed.
