The Escola de Arte e Superior de Deseño Mestre Mateo (EASDMM) is located in Santiago de Compostela, in the extreme northwest of Spain, an autonomous community of Galicia, which is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. It is a small city, with a population with over 96,000, but with a vibrant life. This is due to two reasons: Santiago is generally a city of students, especially at the University of Santiago de Compostela, which is estimated to increase the city’s population by 30,000 people during the school months.
