You can do just that at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The Senior College offers lectures on health, education, the environment, and nature conservation, as well as garden design, and also on topics in engineering, medicine, computer science, and Biotechnology. Guest instructors enrich the program with topics from the broad fields of culture and society.

With your life experience and knowledge, you have the opportunity to actively participate. Design an event yourself, serve on the advisory board, contribute to program planning, or help organize excursions.

This academic year presents a special challenge for you.

The Event Schedule

The academic year begins in October and ends in May or June of the following year. It typically includes one session per month and an excursion at the end of the academic year. The Bernburg Senior College was founded in October 2002. The lectures cover a diverse range of topics. They focus primarily on content aligned with the range of disciplines offered at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, as well as sessions addressing broader societal issues. Under the motto “Seniors for Seniors,” members of the Bernburg Senior College enrich the educational program by suggesting topics and giving special presentations based on their past professional experience.

The events take place monthly.
