After examination of the applications/renewal applications, the awarding committee awards scholarships to applicants according to the degree of their aptitude for scientific/artistic work and the importance of the scientific project envisaged. The commission sets award criteria for the selection of applications for funding. The award committee has the right to invite the applicant to a presentation of the academic topic.
The members of the award committee are in accordance with § 2 GradFVO (2):
- the Vice President responsible for research as a representative of the President,
- four professors from the doctoral centers of the HSA, and
- two academic/artistic staff members or teaching staff for special tasks.
