Webwirtschaft has published a list of the 60 best-known startups between Magdeburg and Halle. The ranking is based on visibility over the past five years: It took into account how frequently startups from Saxony-Anhalt were mentioned in the media, at startup competitions, or in the venture capital investor community. Company size, revenue, or number of employees, however, are not factored into the credits.
Particularly encouraging: Numerous startups and research successes from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences are also represented—including PerioTrap, MAFiS, IdentMe, PXNEL, Tolkee, Omazing, and RideAbo.
We have had the pleasure of supporting many of the listed teams on their journey to founding a business at the FOUND IT! Startup Center, either in the past or even today. This makes it all the more rewarding to see that their innovative strength is also reflected in their high visibility within the startup scene.
We congratulate all the startups and are delighted by the strong growth of Saxony-Anhalt as a startup hub.
The list highlights just how important visibility is for young companies. In addition to compelling innovation, networks, media presence, and strong digital communication play a key role in building reach and gaining recognition from potential partners and investors.
