Exhibition Opening: “Simply GEORGES – Flowers, Blossoms, and Books” // October 8, 2026
During the winter semester, the Köthen University Library is hosting an exhibition featuring flower and blossom motifs by artist Werner Georges. His works—inspired by observations of nature in the region and during his travels—provide a colorful contrast to the neatly arranged bookshelves. The opening will take place on October 8, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. with a musical matinee.
The exhibition at the University Library will be on view through March 10, 2027, during regular opening hours.

Event Series – Research Training “Finding Knowledge”
In our “Finding Knowledge” event series, we offer four 60-minute sessions on specific topics, giving anyone interested the opportunity to expand their knowledge of literature research and administration.
English-language research training sessions can be organized upon request for groups of at least 5 people. The library team is happy to assist. Participation in the courses is voluntary, and they take place online every four weeks.
