Try the Online Editor for Academic Writing for Free
The University Library is testing SciFlow from September 1 through October 31, 2026. During this time, all students and researchers at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences can use the program free of charge.
SciFlow is an editor for academic papers that runs in a browser—no installation is required. The text can be organized into headings, figures, tables, and citations; SciFlow then generates a fully formatted PDF or Word file. Page margins, numbering, the list of figures, and the bibliography no longer need to be maintained manually.

Ideal for theses, publications, and team projects.
Literature can be imported from Zotero, Citavi, or Mendeley. When you change the citation style, the reference list updates automatically. For publication in academic journals, over 5,000 journal templates with corresponding citation styles are available.
You can collaborate on shared documents with fellow students and advisors in the same file; track changes show who made which changes. A spell-checker and grammar checker for German and English are built in. Data is stored on servers in Germany.
Usage and Registration Information
Students and staff can register at → sciflow.net/hs-anhalt using their @hs-anhalt.de email address. This unlocks the Pro features; no installation is required.
