This year's Germany Scholarships were awarded at the Köthen Castle event center on October 18. We would like to congratulate the four scholarship holders from our Department: Marcus Maser, Thi Kim Hanh Luu, Sana Motos and Amer Goli. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, some of whom have supported us for many years: GISA GmbH, regiocom GmbH, ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH and Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bank im Stifterverband für die Deutsche Economics.

Since the summer semester of 2011, the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship has provided 300 euros per month to students who are expected to excel in their studies and careers. Half of the scholarship comes from the federal government and the other half from private donors. Scholarship holders receive the income-independent grant for at least two semesters and at most until the end of the normal program length so that they can successfully concentrate on their university education.
