Research assistant in the working group of Prof. Dr. Sabine Tischew and Prof. Dr. Anita Kirmer in the project “Research Center Agri-Photovoltaics Saxony-Anhalt”: Conducting research on agrivoltaic test facilities for the integration of biodiversity measures in the combined production of food, feed and renewable energy. Project duration: 03/2024 to 12/2027.

 

Tasks

Planning and implementation of experiments with native perennial wild flower seed mixtures to promote biodiversity in three agrivoltaic research facilities at Bernburg-Strenzfeld. Investigation of the effects on biodiversity, including monitoring of beneficial insects. Analysis of forage value and yield quantities under the conditions of agrivoltaic systems.

•    Evaluation and optimization of biodiversity measures for integration into solar energy production
•    Ecological and economic synergy effects of agrivoltaics
•    Inter- and transdisciplinary research, measures to improve knowledge transfer between science and practice
