Prof. Peter Apel

Peter Apel graduated with diploma in architecture from the Technical University of Berlin in 2001, where he received several awards for his work. 

In the same year, he joined Sauerbruch Hutton and in 2020 he became a partner. As a project manager, he has been responsible for a large number of competitions, design and realization projects.  

One focus of his work is on cultural buildings, which he manages from competition to completion, such as the Museum Brandhorst in Munich and the Science Center Experimenta in Heilbronn. Since 2018, he teaches at DIA.
