Land­scape Ar­chi­tec­ture and En­vir­on­ment­al Plan­ning (B.Eng.)

serve as preparation for the Bachelor's thesis. By working on the project, students learn and practice how to work on a scientific topic, including writing a scientific report and defending it.
The project work is subject to the formal requirements of a Bachelor's thesis, but is less extensive and may regularly be completed in group work.
The topic of the project work can be geared towards the later Bachelor's thesis and represent a preliminary work.
The defense usually takes place as a colloquium similar to a Bachelor's defense. Other forms of defense may be chosen in consultation with the supervisor, such as giving a presentation at a conference or in a lecture.
Two compulsory student projects must be completed during the course of study, which may be freely chosen from a list of topics offered each semester. The projects are not tied to a specific topic and are carried out in the 4th and 5th semesters.
