Program Overview
- four semester degree program with 120 ECTS credits (for international students)
- !!! new !!! three semester degree program with 90 ECTS credits (for German students who have had period of study of at least 7 semesters 210 credits)
- issued degree: Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (courses taught in English and German)
- !!! new !!! for international students: specific focus on training german skills in the program (two modules German for professional practice according to your knowledge)
- program will be offered either in winter semester (starts on October 1) or summer semester (starts on April 1)
- all engineering and medical classes will be taught in Köthen
- medical classes focus on surgery, cardiology and intensive care
- special topic: Biomedical Engineering (courses taught in English and German)
- language of instruction is English (you can study our program completely in English; since most courses of our bilingual program are taught in English, no German language skills are required)
- choice of around 28 offered courses
There are three specializations, which combine the main research areas of Biomedical Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences:
- Virtual Reality in Medicine
- Signals & Data
- Sensors & Systems
