Course content and objectives
This German-taught program builds on a related previous degree (Bachelor, Diplom) to convey and practice knowledge and skills that cross the boundaries of traditional agribusiness and food industry disciplines. The education serves to teach and further develop competences for practical leadership activities and scientific work.
After completing the program, graduates have the competences necessary for taking on a management role in the national and international food industry and agribusiness sector. Based on the study objectives, the qualifications obtained serve primarily for companies in the agricultural and food industry, but also companies in food retail and wholesale companies as well as in associations and government agencies. The primary focuses are on leadership tasks at the middle management level and tasks in the areas of quality management, product development, marketing, and consulting.
