A celebration of cultures
Anhalt is colorful. Anhalt is open-minded. On October 8, 2025, international students of Anhalt University will showcase a spectrum of cultural diversity at the International University Day. They are inviting citizens of Köthen, fellow students, lecturers and university staff and everyone interested to a colorful festival of cultures starting at 4 p.m.
In the afternoon, visitors can expect a wide-ranging cultural program. With music and dance, students will bring international flair to Köthen. This year, the focus of the event is on Kazakhstan.
Alongside international students from China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Turkey, there will also be German students and teachers, as well as the castle choir from the Köthen music school "Johann Sebastian Bach” and the band “La Liberté” from the Freie Schule Anhalt, who will all be actively participating in the colorful program.
The International University Day will take place in the Ratke Building at Lohmannstraße 23 in Köthen. All interested parties are cordially invited. The event is free of charge. Registration is not required.
