A Celebration of Cultures
Anhalt is diverse. Anhalt is cosmopolitan. On October 7, 2026, international students at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences will showcase a spectrum of cultural diversity during International University Day. Starting at 4:00 p.m., they invite interested members of the public, residents of Köthen, fellow students, lecturers, and university staff to a vibrant celebration of cultures.
In the afternoon, visitors can look forward to a wide-ranging musical and cultural program. Students will bring an international flair to Köthen through music and dance. This year, Kazakhstan will be the focus of the event.
In addition to international students from China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Brazil, and Turkey, German students and teaching staff, as well as the castle choir of the Köthen Music School “Johann Sebastian Bach” and the band “La Liberté” from the Freie Schule Anhalt, will actively participate in the vibrant program.
International University Day will take place at the Ratke-Gebäude (Building 23 - Köthen). All interested parties are cordially invited. The event is free of charge. Registration is not required.
