The startup grant program, launched in 2022, is now entering its third application round. 

The grant from the Startup Support Fund at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is a financial award that students and graduates of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences who wish to start a business can receive to further develop innovative business ideas during the pre-launch phase. This includes, among other things, the development and optimization of prototypes, the recruitment of co-founders, and activities to raise capital—such as the preparation of business plans and grant applications—as well as marketing to support the startup.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Eligible applicants include students who are enrolled at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences during the funding period and graduates of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences whose most recent degree was awarded no more than three years ago.
2. Eligibility is limited to the pre-startup phase.
3. A scholarship can only be awarded upon submission of an application that is submitted in the proper form and by the deadline, in accordance with the guidelines in the call for applications.

The conditions for awarding and using the grant are set forth in the guidelines.
The total funding per startup project amounts to a maximum of 2,400 euros.

The startup grant is funded by voluntary contributions from regional partners in the university’s startup support network.
