An excursion into the countryside
The Georgium is an important English-style landscape park that is part of the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom. It is home to numerous classicist and romanticizing park buildings, sculptures and monuments that are harmoniously embedded in the landscape and nature. It is also home to the Anhalt Picture Gallery Dessau, one of the largest art museums in Saxony-Anhalt.
The Georgium is an important part of the region's cultural heritage and a tourist attraction.
The aim of the excursion on 22.10.2021 is, on the one hand, to get to know the historical and cultural significance of the Anhalt Princely House at authentic locations and thus to introduce a section of regional history. On the other hand, the visit to the park should be experienced as a meaningful leisure activity and the attractiveness of Saxony-Anhalt should be recognized.
Outings into the countryside promote group dynamics and strengthen cohesion. This makes learning easier.
