Welcome to the Student Lounge!
The Student Lounge is a cozy common room where students can support each other and spend their free time together. Here you can work together in groups, study independently, have a cup of coffee or print out the next documents for your course.
Are you new to Campus Köthen? Then the Student Lounge is your first port of call to make contact with the local student community. Here you can meet up with other students, enjoy delicious food (potlucks), play video or board games or just drop by for a chat.
Counseling service and events for international students
Do you need support with your new everyday life in Germany? Then don't hesitate to approach the Student Lounge HiWis and ask for advice.
As part of a peer-to-peer consultation, they will help you to master the German bureaucracy, integrate into German society and culture and refer you to important contacts.

Events and workshops
Another plus point is the FITTER4YOURCAREER project. Throughout the year, the project offers several events and workshops in the Student Lounge. With the focus on giving you a better preparation for the job market and the STEM industry in Saxony-Anhalt.
The events and workshops include peer-to-peer mentoring, acquiring professional skills, practicing language skills and answering all your questions about the local job market.
