The instructors always had an open ear for me

From an early age, my goal was to become an engineer! I studied Electrical Engineering at Mehran University in Jamshoro, Pakistan. A diverse course of study. I was very interested in clean and environmentally friendly energy generation. After graduating, I looked for a suitable postgraduate course.

The German engineering course is very good and Germany is a pioneer in the field of photovoltaics. However, it wasn't just the theoretical content, but also the practical relevance that was decisive in deciding which university I wanted to do my Master's at. I therefore opted for "Photovoltaic Engineering Science" at the HS Anhalt in Köthen.

And it was worth it! My first job after graduation fits in perfectly with my studies. I've been working at Solibro Hi-Tech GmbH in Solar Valley near Thalheim since May 2018. As a product development engineer, I test prototypes of solar modules. I regularly integrate the course content into my day-to-day work.

Studying far away from home was the right decision for me. And the fact that the instructors always had an open ear for me helped me in many a situation.
