The Landscape Management and Development Working Group is a working group within the Center of Life Sciences at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
The working group is currently involved in various projects with the focal points listed below. The focus is on the investigation and testing of various measures and methods to improve the population situation of plant species and/or habitats. Basic analyses, testing of measures and accompanying scientific monitoring studies are used to generate building blocks and contributions for the credits and further development of landscape management and nature conservation measures.
In the projects, the working group cooperates with various partners from science, Administration and practice.

Ecology and population biology of rare and endangered plant species
- Monitoring, population and endangerment analyses

Dynamics of forest ecosystems against the background of climate change:
- Studies on the current stand and forest damage situation for selected FFH areas and their forest habitats
- Methods and measures for the promotion of woody species and forest habitats as a building block for adaptation to climate change and for dealing with forest damage
