To register in RosettaStone, simply go to the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences´ website and select the Language Center from the ‘University’ menu.

On the Language Center's site, you will find in a prominent place the offer ‘Learn languages in self-study with RosettaStone’.

Please click here on ‘Learn More’.

Use only the link provided here to log in and register.

This link will take you to the registration form.

Here you enter your first name, your last name and your university e-mail address.

Please use only your university e-mail address.

You must now agree to the data protection regulation and can submit the form.

In the next step you will receive an e-mail from RosettaStone that will allow you to complete the registration process.

After you have registered using this form with your name and your university e-mail address, please check your inbox. It may take a moment for you to receive this e-mail. But once you do, you can usually find it in your inbox. If not, please check your junk box as well.

In this e-mail, you will find a link labeled 'Start Now'. Simply click on it.

First, you will be asked to generate a password here.  Please comply with this request. Re-enter the password when prompted to do so.

Next, please select your native language.

Select the voice type. That means: Are you male or female? And choose your time zone. You can find the time zone for Germany at 'Europe/Berlin'.

If you have confirmed the 'Terms of Use' and the 'Privacy Policy', you can continue here by clicking 'Agree and Continue'.

Now you can choose which language you want to learn.

Then you will be asked to answer a few questions to set up your account as accurately and specifically as possible. You can select your native language here so that all menus and all corresponding names and texts are displayed in your native language.

Please click on 'Start'.

The information you are asked to provide here is, of course, very individual. Therefore, please click through these corresponding questions. And try to be as objective as possible in your personal response.

After you answer the questions, you can have your language skills assessed. Please note that this test period will be approximately 30-45 minutes long.

After you complete the very comprehensive test, RosettaStone will provide you with an evaluation of your current language skills while redirecting you to your profile. Now you’re ready to start working.

One more note: For subsequent registration, please do not reuse the link you initially received from RosettaStone to register. Use the 'login.rosettastone.com' website and log in there using your previously generated password and university e-mail address.

Once you have successfully completed the registration procedure, you will have your own profile available on RosettaStone.

You can log in to RosettaStone and continue working on your courses at any time using the link 'login.rosettastone.com'.

Here you can see the products you have selected. These courses refer to the language you selected for your personal learning platform, when you signed up at RosettaStone. ’Add courses' would also refer only to that specific language.

However, if you decide to learn a new language, you need to go through the following procedure:

Click your name at the upper right corner and select 'Profile'.

Here you can see the basic settings you specified in the login procedure.

If you want to change the language to be able to learn a completely new language you can do it by clicking 'Change language'.

You will see a notification message which explains that when you learn a new language, you also need to repeat the entire login procedure.

That means exactly the same procedure that you completed for the first selected language.

You will need to work through it all to register for your new language.

Click on 'Change language' and the procedure will start.
