The International Student Workshop on Logistics, Supply Chain, and Production Management (IDWL) was held for the 16th time at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. This long-standing event brings together researchers and early-career scholars from various countries and universities each year to discuss current developments and research approaches in logistics.

The workshop was organized by the University of Magdeburg, with support from Prof. Dr. Sebastian Trojahn and Prof. Dr. Fabian Behrendt (Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences). During the workshop, participating doctoral candidates from the Doctoral Center for Social Sciences, Health, and Economics (PZ SGW) presented their current dissertation projects at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.

These topics were discussed at length with the international expert community. The discussions focused in particular on issues related to digital transformation, sustainable supply chains, data-driven management, and production optimization.

The event brought together around 20 researchers from Germany, Ukraine, Hungary, Cuba, and Turkey - and provided an important forum for international exchange, academic collaboration, and networking.
