The Department of Computer Science and Languages at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is running a computer science club together with the DiLeLa - Digitale LernLabore Sachsen-Anhaltproject. Pupils from Year 8 who are interested in technology, programming and digital topics are invited to take part. The weekly group provides exciting insights into the world of computer science and shows how creative computer technology can be.
Contents and topics
The focus is on practical projects that call for creativity and curiosity in equal measure. For example, the micro:bit mini-computers are used to create small paper robots, interactive games such as the "hot wire" or self-driving vehicles that are programmed and controlled. In addition, Blender and Blockbench are used to create their own 3D models and figures, while Scratch is used for playful programming and even initial experiments in the field of machine learning. Participants will be accompanied by teams from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and the DiLeLa project, who will provide technical support and insights into modern computer science.

The AG takes place every Thursday
- from 13:15 inthe rooms of the Freie Sekundarschule Dessau-Roßlau,
Wasserwerkstraße 19, - and from 16:00 at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Lohmannstraße 23 in Köthen.
