By successfully defending his dissertation, Pascal Haberland has reached another important milestone. The dissertation focused on the topic ‘Navigating the bottleneck: efficient strategies for innovation and technology management in small and medium-sized enterprises’.
The focus was on the PEAK action plan that had been developed, which designs technology and innovation management specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises in a practical, streamlined and efficient manner. The aim was to translate scientific findings into a solution that could be directly applied in day-to-day business operations.
The project was carried out in close collaboration with Teguma GmbH and was successfully trialled there. It is particularly pleasing that the concept developed will be implemented on a permanent basis within the company in future, thereby making a direct contribution to the further development of innovation and technology management processes.
This thesis impressively demonstrates how applied research can combine academic rigour with practical benefits for business.
