As outlined in the academic calendar, all courses and events at Anhalt University are halted during the festive season as follows:
Course-free Days: December 23, 2020 to January 6, 2021
Public Holidays in Saxony-Anhalt: December 25-26, 2020; January 1, 2021; January 6, 2021
As no guidance and support service of Anhalt University's International Office will be offered during this course-free period, it is recommended to refrain from arriving in Germany from a risk-area between December 7, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
Therefore, it is recommended to all international students to plan their arrival before December 7, 2020 or after January 11, 2021.
Please inform the International Office at least five working days prior to your planned arrival using this contact form.
Students who choose to travel to an international risk area or visit their country of origin during the festive season, are doing so at their own risk and bear the sole responsibility in case of an imposed quarantine, obstacles to return travel or alike. Anhalt University cannot guarantee any re-entry support services for such travellers.
