Around 40 companies and logistics experts recently gathered at the industry roundtable in Aken to discuss the opportunities and challenges of trimodal logistics.
The managing director of the Port of Aken outlined the wide range of options for cargo handling and transport by water, rail and road, and emphasised the port’s importance as a regional logistics hub. Prof. Dr Sebastian Trojahn contributed to the discussion by providing insights into current developments in the logistics sector.
As well as a series of fascinating presentations, the event focused on networking: the participating companies took the opportunity to make new contacts and explore potential synergies for more efficient supply chains and transport routes.
