With its master's degree program in Data Science, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences offers a special opportunity for graduates of all bachelor's degree programs: The degree program creates valuable bridging knowledge and makes it possible to acquire in-depth data skills without a previous computer science degree.
The master's degree program is aimed at graduates from all disciplines and fields of humanities, Business Studies or natural sciences and more who wish to expand their knowledge with in-depth knowledge of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and digital data analysis. Students are taught the necessary computer science basics from the very first semester. This is followed by advanced topics such as data mining, deep learning and visual analytics.
"We need bright minds with specialist knowledge who are also data literate. This Master's degree enables exactly that - and makes modern technology accessible to all disciplines," explains Prof. Christian Hänig, Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, adding: "The upcoming and urgently needed digitalization in the various disciplines hardly exists in many medium-sized companies. This results in excellent job prospects."
Depending on prior knowledge, the course lasts three to four semesters, is taught in German at the Campus Köthen of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and leads to a Master of Science degree. Applications can be submitted until September 15, 2025.
